The Tommasi story is that of a pioneer spirit ignited in 1902 that has blazed across four generations.

The Tommasi family has made wine for over 100 years, since 1902, when Giacomo Tommasi acquired a small parcel of land in Valpolicella Classica.

The first official vintage of Tommasi Amarone Classico is created in 1959, from the natural "appassimento" of the Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara grapes. Every vintage since then has been a continuous research to produce better wine, while remaining faithful to the winemaking principles of the founder, Giacomo.
